Secondly, if you're a serious about becoming a good bass player, you should go out and buy a bass guitar ! As good as you can afford. Not as good as you think you are, or think you can be. Because after reading these monthly articles, you'll soon be improving leaps and bounds. {smile}

Other important tools of the trade would be, a bass casing (soft or hard), a tuner, and a drum machine or a metronome, and finally a cloth to keep your strings from rusting from the sweat your fingers will give from all that hard practicing you're going to put in. Well, not necessary all at once, but may it be the next thing that you'll buy, once the cash comes in.

Next month, ‘A Tuning Tip'.
